Junior Programs

HTTC offers your child the finest tennis coaches at our excellent indoor facility. The result is a year-round, easily accessible, well supervised development programs for children.

 

Our programs include instruction, practice, competition, and special events which are designed to be fun for new and recreational players, as well as to motivate and train serious tournament players.

Quick Start Tennis

(6 & Under)

Young Beginner

(Recommend: 1-2 days/week)

Designed for young beginner who has limited or no prior tennis experience.

Building physical skills, basic catching, hitting and throwing skills through racquet control drills, sending and receiving, rallying skills, and ABCs (agility, balance, and coordination).

Junior Beginners

(Recommend: Min. 2 days/week)

Designed for beginner/intermediate level players who can rally, needs additional work on stroke production, tennis specific footwork, and situational play. Skill building continues with increased emphasis on cooperative drills.

 

Teaching fundamentals necessary to serve, rally and score using a rally/game based curriculum.

Ready for USTA Matches

(Recommend: Min. 2 days/week)

Designed for Middle School and High School level players who can rally on court and comfortably engage in point play against a variety of players. 

Focus will be on improving movement and positioning, concentration and focus, shot placement, and closing points. 

Most participants play in tournaments, team tennis and interscholastic competition.

For Advanced Tournament level players desires to be on high school tennis team, earn a college scholarship, or even make the ATP/WTA tour, this program will help players to reach to full potential and achieve the goals.

A combination of drills, match play, and physical & mental conditioning training to develop the necessary technical, tactical, physical and mental skills to reach their potential.

 

(Recommend: Min. 2 days/week)

For Advanced Tournament level players currently on High School team (or trying out), along with Sectional tournament players. Emphasize on match play, consistency, and strategy.

A combination of fed ball drills, live ball drills, competitive drills, match play, and physical & mental conditioning training to develop the necessary technical, tactical, physical and mental skills to reach their potential.
