History

Founded in 2002 by Hong C. Ni, Chinese National Elite Senior Coach and former head coach of Chinese National Women's Tennis Team, HTTC is composed of top class professional, well experienced coaching staffs in Air Park Gaithersburg, Maryland.

At his early national men’s tennis professional player path, coach Hong has participated in numerous Chinese National games and has obtained the titles of men’s singles top three, national men's doubles champion in various levels of tennis tournaments in China. In late 70s to the end of the 80s coach Hong has earned the title as ATP's professional player, world ranked number 283.

Later on during his professional coaching career, coach Hong has guided and trained many top professional players to reach ATP rankings of 20 to 100. Under his lead, the Chinese women's national team competed in “Fed Cup” and all “Grand Slam” tournaments. In 1996, coach Hong led the Chinese National tennis team to finally compete in the Atlanta Olympic Games for the first time in the Chinese tennis history.

With his passion for tennis and determination, coach Hong founded Hong Tennis Training Center in 2002 in the United States and  has trained numerous top professional players. At the same time, he also built an international network to connect both countries to practice and exchange skills through training at HTTC.

To exchange skills through professional trainings. Here at HTTC we provide world-class tennis instruction and programming for people of all ages and skill levels. We are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about tennis. Every staff member genuinely cares about our players and takes great pride in ensuring that they have the best possible experience. HTTC is committed to becoming the best junior developmental training program in the area. Here we see tennis as a vehicle to develop champions with the highest standards of fair play on and off the court providing a pathway from their introduction to the game to top-tier collegiate and professional competition.
